Crazy ideas for some clients and some problem solving solutions and suggestions that have helped their businesses flourish and help Dynamic print & design stand out in both Norwich and further afield.


Relish, the award winning restaurant, bar and deli in Newton Flotman, just outside Norwich conatacted Dynamic after receiving one of our business cards passed to them by a client. Rachael and Jeremy Parke liked the fact that the cards were so different. QUESTION: "What can you do for us?" was the question asked. "Make us stand out from the crowd." ANSWER: "What about if we cut out the chicken outline you use in your branding?" Barney answered. The idea was born; we re-drew the outline using the computer and sent it off to the Forme makers. A laser uses our drawing to cut into a plywood sheet and then a metal cutting blade is hammered into position. When the forme is mounted on the machine we can cut the shape out (see the photograph above).		The result works very well. 540gsm sage green board is foiled in satin white and then the 'chicken' is removed. "We even suggested to Rachael that we keep the chicken shapes and could she use them for anything. They are now tags on their deli jars!" added Barney. The picture above shows the cutting forme for the chicken shape.

Britannia - The Launch: We created some beautiful and unusual invitations for Britannia. 'We arranged for the board to be specially made at the mill. Red, white and blue boards were glued together to give a whopping sheet of 810gsm board' said Mark Critten, Dynamic's foiling specialist. 'It was printed in white and metallic silver and we even forme cut a shield shape out, bringing their branding to it too!' he added. We have supplied Britannia for the 12 years they have traded.

New purchase... What better time to invest in a new machine? Our commitment to our business is shown in investing in a very clever piece of kit for our Christmas rush. 'The Morgana CardXtra will save a great deal of time in our finishing department and free up the guillotine for bigger jobs' said Mark Critten, Digital Specialist at Dynamic. After a chat with those talented chaps at EYE Film and TV. We were granted funding to get on with the film for our website. We all met at 'The Coach' on Thorpe Road.

'...did their piece
for the camera'

With nerves calmed each customer broke away from the huddle and did their piece for the camera. Films of various machines performing varied tasks were then edited in. Terry Rose, Partner at Greenhouses Direct was our choice customer to be filmed at his premises. Although he wasn't sure of the idea, once on camera he did us proud. This could be the start of a new career we reckon! Once completed we enjoyed a light bite and a drink (or two!)

We have thousands of images and have carefully chosen and printed a wide range.
